I obtained my BS degree from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1987 with majors in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I received my Master's degree in Gifted Education from The University of South Alabama in 2006. I taught middle and high school math for eight years and this is my fourteenth year teaching gifted education.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Neal for 29 years. We have two children. Rachel is 21 and is a senior at The University of Alabama where she is studying social work. David is 25 and graduated from The University of Alabama with degrees in physics and mathematics. He and Eva have been married for over three years now. I love reading, Sudoku puzzles, music, vacationing, and anything dealing with my family. I am the only gifted specialist at MES this year and am the coordinator for Destination ImagiNation at Monrovia. I also teach Sunday School to 9th and 10th grade youth. I enjoy many types of food, but Olive Garden, Longhorn, Connors, and Outback are probably my favorite places to eat. I also enjoy a quiet afternoon at Starbucks sipping a vanilla bean frappuccino or caramel macchiato with Rachel Yummy!
That's a little info about me. I hope you enjoyed reading and thanks for visiting. Have a great day! updated 08/06/2015
